Can i connect External TV-out card to my hp compaq notebook which has no inbuilt S-video?

my notebook is Hp compaq nx7300, with no tv out or s-video jack, i have a pcmacia slot on the left side of the notebook..! i don't know what it is for! could i add any external tv-out or any card that could help me watch my videos on the tv??? please help|||If you are not able to find a PCMIA card with TV-out at least you would definitely be able to do what you want with a Scan Converter



If you don't have a TV-out feature, you can add the capability, either through an expansion card or through an external device known as a scan converter. A scan converter is an external box that converts a PC's video signal to one that can be understood by a television. You run a cable from the VGA port to the scan converter, and a second cable from the scan converter to the TV. A good scan converter can cost $100 or more, though.
