well just got an HP Compaq DC7100 just wondering if there is any gaming video cards for it like what kind am i looking for and iv been looking at them and i dont know the first thing about picking the right one so i dont but the rong one and what not|||There are 3 different form factor for HP DC7100, 1-ultra slim form factor 2- Small form factor 3- Convertible Midtower,
If you own the "Convertible Midtower" then your options are limited to these models with PCI-Express x16 interface (The power supply for "Converible Midtower" is 340W so you won't be able to use the latest video cards with high power consumption);
1- ATI Radeon HD 4670
2- Nvidia GT 240
3- ATI Radeon HD 5750
4- Nvidia Geforce 9600 GT
Or any other cards with low power draw.|||Depends on what kind of case you have. If you have the small form factor or mini tower, you will have to get a video card that is small form factor. There are expansion slots on these computers that will take a PCIex16 card. However, most of them have mickey mouse 200-240w power supplies - hardly ideal for a decent card.
Check your owners manual.|||alot are..ati,nvidia...etc
