No signal at boot amd athelon 1600 video card good all fans working processer chip installed mon.blnks no beep

cant figure out i have test meter fan works on video card hard drive seems to be working ive tried to boot with xp disk if something on motherboard is fried can i bypass were do i test conduct or dc also ive checked grounds. thanks for even thinking help!!!|||I don't understand the question. If you have no signal when you boot then there would be no image on your monitor.



I suggest that if you are not a trained technician you be VERY careful what you test with your meter inside your computer. Some meters use a 9VDC battery and if you are checking continuity all if this power goes to the leads, many components inside the computer run on 3vdc or even -3vdc. You will zap it to fast you would never know what happened.



Remember, the fans run off the power supply without intervention of the electronics on the card itself. That they work mean nothing if the video processor or video ram are dead.
