i am using a Dell vostro 430 that is 3 days old with a nvidia geoforce gt 220. i have two dell monitors plugged into the video card and my comp has a extra dvi port but the dvi port has no output when a third monitor is plugged up.. help?|||run nvidia-settings and see if it will let you use the third port.
Sometimes there is a VGA chip on a motherboard, or a second graphics card. In which case you may need to enable it in BIOS and run 2 different drivers. I've done that in Linux.
