I was wondering. My CPU is pretty powerful (Q9450) and my video card is lacking power from time to time (Radeon 3870). But they match up pretty well such that both uses DDR3 RAM. So would it be possible to download an application that allows video processing to be partially done on the CPU? Cause that would probably put my CPU at its fullest potential while taking stress off of my GPU|||
I dont think there is software that could do such a thing, in the future maybe GPU/CPU will be a combined piece of hardware.|||nope. Since you have an after market GPU, the GPU does all of the gfx processes.
