I have a dell optiplex gx240 atx desktop from 01-02.it has an agp slot.i want to upgrade the video card and i dont know if it has a 2x,4x, or 8x slotany help would be greatly appreciated.it is a full size tower with p4 1.6|||AGP 4X low profile only.

The video card must be a low-profile size to fit.
Pretty old model, good luck find a video card for it. And I mean good luck.|||GX240's Came with a bunch of different cards. On your card it should tell you what it is. Most came with 4's and 8's. Did you buy it new. Do you have your service tag? If so then you can find out the exact slot. But with the information that you gave there is no way that I can tell for sure.
